HUDIKSVALL

The last time we played here it ended in KAOS and this time dosen´t start out that great either.
When we get to the hotel there´s no hotelrooms booked for us!
There was 11 rooms booked but somehow they got lost along the way.
When you´re out touring these things just have to work because we don´t have the time OR energy to take care of it.
Luckily we came to a solution and there was no hard feelings afterwards.

The soundcheck gets strenuous because of the odd shape of the local.
It´s like sitting in a box. Only bass and loud noises.

After dinner we kick back to relax a few hours before we get up on stage again.
We talked about the last time we were here and how they had to lift people over the security fence constantly.
With this in mind I guess we took it a little bit easier with the rocking. It would be so nice if we could preform a whole show for you people. Tonight we did.

After the gig we were sooo hungry.
They didn´t have any food left on the hotel because of a brooken freezer so we went down to the fast-food-corner for some pizzas and burgers. Happy happy joy joy.

Most of us got to sleep before 04.00 so it was a nice and calm evening.
Take Care and we´ll meet again.

UPPSALA

We got much nicer hotelrooms today!
Even though it feels like we´ve played in every town in Sweden, this is our first gig in Robert´s town of birth, Uppsala!
The place for tonights action is called, Lotus, a nice and small nightclub.

We get a nice welcome and together with a couple of beers, everything feels great!
Our Lightningmaster, Goran, has built this amazing "Joybox" with everything in it... There´s a Refrigerator, Nintendo Wii, Xbox etc etc... this keeps us entertained almost before every gig and this night is no diffrent.

Minutes before we are supposed to get up on stage we get the information that we have to wait for like 20 minutes because of a huge fight upstairs.
Then when we actually got up on stage, little would we know that this gig would be the craziest in a looong time!!
It all begins when I make a nice jump in the intro to "Evil Eye" and when I land, the floor dissapears below me!!
Ha ha... There´s a huge hole in the stage!
Amazingly, no one in the band saw it so when I show them, they all burst out into laughs. ha ha.
Then the drums fall apart and we have to play "Reason to cry" without a snare drum. Sounds strange but it works.
Well, it´s a crazy gig but it turns out pretty good after all coz there´s no fight during the concert.

Look at some "Vimmelbilder" HERE!

Later that night it´s partytime and also time for Goran to get rid of his beard. We helped him...
I have no picture of the actual shaving yet but ther will be.
Then we party ´til we sleep.

SLICK CITY!

A thursdaygig in Gävle.
We arrived in the afternoon to check-in at the hotel we´re staying at tonight.
Not a very highclass hotel I might say.
The girls in the reception was kind though.

A couple of hours to rest before we have to get to "Heartbreak" for soundcheck and delicious food.

The night comes fast and the line of people outside is growing longer for every minute.
When they open the doors it´s sold out in 15 minutes!! I hear it´s some kind of a record for this place. sweet.
Alot of people can´t get their hands on a precious ticket and irritation is growing outside.

On the inside it´s crowded, hot and steamy.
It´s almost impossible to make way through the crowd when it´s time to get up on stage.
But we get there and the show is on!

This crowd is even louder than the one last weekend so there´s no problem what so ever to find the energy.
A damn good gig and a beautiful crowd.
Thank you Gävle and I hope we can come back here very soon.

Read a good review HERE!

ÖSTERSUND

It´s nice to be back in Östersund.
Since I left ÖSD for Sundsvall 15 months ago I´ve neglected this cold and windy forrest beauty.
after a tasty kebab at Kebabcity we wander about the city and head back to Radisson for a swim in the pool before we get back to Folkets hus and a very nice gig.

I saw some old friends in the crowd... well... as a matter of fact... all of you crazyheads are my friends!
I promise that I will get back to ÖSD more often and freeze my nuts off.

Check out some reviews from the gig.

LÄNSTIDNINGEN

UMEÅ

Back in the north again.
We´ve played at the Idunteatern before and like then, we get a nice welcome.
Our technicians is putting the stage up with amplifiers, drums etc while we´re hanging out at the hotel.
After the soundcheck there´s time for a fast dinner before we have to get back to Idun.
A little while later we´re up on stage preforming.

This gig is a little bit different to what we´re used to.
Mostly because the theaterlocal is filled with chairs and half the audience is sitting down.
It´s not a bad thing... just unusual on a rock concert.
However, it´s a good gig and it was fun.
Thanx Ume for showing up tonight.

SKÖVDE

Skövde here we come!
After soundcheck there´s time for some slacking.

There´s alot of people here tonight and it seems to be a great evening.
We get up on stage and the show is on.
I tell you... SKÖVDE KNOWS HOW TO ROCK!!
It´s a damn good gig and we´re all pleased.

Afterwards we go to a local club for some drinks.
Sweet.

This was the last gig for a couple of weeks with Plan Three.
They´re all good guys and we wish them all the best in the future!

And now for something really easy.
Answer yourself these questions:

1. Do you like tAKiDA?
2. Would you like to hear more from them on the radio?
3. I wanna hear less crapmusic on the radio!

if your answer is "YEAH, GODDAMN IT!" on at least one of these questions above,
then help us by purchasing the actual CD, bury the lies.

LUND

We drove for like 15 hrs straight to get here. 1100 km. A huge applause to our drivers.
Well... we can only admit that Lund is a beautiful town.

Once again we had some difficulties with the technology in the beginning of the show but I think we got into it after a couple of songs. People in the south is more calm during the preformances. They´re like really listening.
We got off stage and then there is party.

Tell me... why is people in Lund so difficult to talk to? I mean besides their accent!?
It seemed as if everyone of us had rabies or something.
If you strated a conversation with someone, they just snorted at you and walked away.

Sleep. Tomorrow is a long drive again...

STHLM

We get some sleep this morning... NOT!
It´s wakey wakey at 03.00 in the morning. YAAAWN.
We head over to TV4 to do a soundcheck.
After some breakfast we´re trying to find a spot to maybe get some rest.
No success. Linda is trashing the place =) and we´re too excited to sleep.

After shaking hands with Anders & Kristin at Nyhetsmorgon we´re up on stage preforming "Curly Sue" with Linda and Patrik.
Ernst Kirchsteiger is surprisingly a new tAKiDAfan.
After preforming "The Dread" some of us returns to the hotel for some sleep while me and Mattias is off to RADIO BANDIT for a short interview.
Then there is soundcheck and dinner.
After getting a meal everyone falls into a coma-like state of mind...

However it dosen´t last for long I tell you...
this crowd is even louder than the one in GBG!!
3500 friends of our "family" screaming is a lovely feeling!

I want to thank Plan Three for doing a good job as "pre-heaters" and also a HUGE thanx to the audiance in STHLM.
You´ve made our dreams come true!
See ya soon.

GBG

We´re leaving Karlstad early and head for Gothenburg wich is the place for tonight´s event.
During soundcheck we hook up with beautiful and charming violinist
LINDA LAMPENIUS
She rehearse 2 songs (Curly sue and Reason to cry) with us and I tell you... it sounds so sweet.

They open the doors to Lisebergshallen and it is filled in no time!
Plan Three heat things up tonight again and when they´re done you can almost touch the tension and the energy in the air.
We enter the stage and the audiance is completly nuts!
What a feeling.

We do our thing and when it´s time for the extras... we get both Linda Lampenius (violin) and Patrik Frisk (piano) up on stage.
I´m standing in the background and feel amazed by the crowd singing and waving along.
Goosebumps all over.

Thanx GBG for making this evening unforgettable!
